EDWARDSVILLE – A St. Louis man was charged by Madison County officials on Wednesday in the theft of a lawn mower from the Alton Lowes. Tory T. Branyon, 44, was charged with two counts of retail theft over $300, a Class 3 felony. The case was presented by the Alton Police Department. According to court documents, on May 4, Branyon allegedly took a lawn mower from the Alton Lowes. On April 17, he allegedly took lights and batteries from the same store. Bail was set at $40,000. Other felonies filed by Madison County officials on May 24 include: • Jonathan Dickerson, 52, of Florissant, Missouri, was charged with retail theft over $300, a Class 3 felony.
