GODFREY - Dr. Cedric Brown's journey has led him back to a place he once called home - and will do so again.Brown, a one-time assistant men's basketball coach at Lewis and Clark Community College, will become its new athletic director, pending LCCC Board of Trustees approval on Tuesday night. "It means a lot to me to come here," Brown said. "LC is a family. "I'm very familiar with the community, from Alton and Godfrey to Bethalto, Roxana, Wood River up to Carlinville. And I worked on the Missouri side with the Ferguson-Florissant School District during that time and I directed middle school athletics.
